Itworks as a tax. • Itguaranteestheeconomicalresourcestofinancethemaintenance and operationalcosts of the EDAR (SewageTreatmentPlants). • Itchargestheproduction of sewage, bymeans of theconsumption. • Itaffectsboththeconsumption in publicnets and in theownnets. • There are tworates, onefordomestic use (0,46 €/m3) and onefor industrial use (0,67 €/m3). Itrepresents30% of thewaterinvoice.
