Challenges of NGOs from a country of destination perspective • Migration policies facilitating trafficking • Legislative gaps, legal uncertainty, administrative practice • Lack of political will to raise awareness and take preventive measures • Victims rights violated on different levels • Access to social and economic rights • Access to protection • Rights in criminal procedures • Right to compensation and access to civil procedures • Lack of integration policies /safe voluntary repatriation /reintegration in country of origin

Challenges of NGOs from a country of destination perspective • Role of NGOs not adequately regulated – lack of MOUs • No transnational cooperation at state authorities level • Limited cooperation and networking between NGOs from countries of origin – transit • societal issues, stereotyping, discrimination, racism, media e.t.c. • Funding and capacity building
