  2. Grade 5 Arts Integration Social Studies Project This project will have you do the following: Social Studies: Describe the significance of the Fraser/Cariboo Gold Rush to BC and Canadian History Art: Use animation to demonstrate movement artistically

  3. Doodle Animation Tools needed: STORYLINE Whiteboard Whiteboard pens Flip video camera

  4. Paper Motion Animation Tools needed: STORYLINE Paper Pencil Scissors Stop Motion animation app Ipad

  5. Stop Animation Tools needed: STORYLINE Background 3D characters Props Stop animation app Ipad

  6. Can we be in groups? YES! BUT be aware that Expectations are HIGH

  7. Step 1: Choose a partner (small group, 3 max) Step 2: Decide on a story – characters, background, props Step 3: What type of animation are you going to do? Step 4: Plot out your storyline and working timeline IN DETAIL on storyboards Step 5: Gather/prepare your characters, background, props (do I need anything from home) Step 6: Film! Step 7: Edit for publishing Step 8: Self Assess your work Timeline: April 14 to May 5 (6 classes) Final presentations on May 6
