  4. Interrogative Sentences What time is your birthday party? May I please borrow your crayons? Who is your teacher this year? Did you remember to do your homework?

  5. Declarative Sentences In fourth grade, you can join band. Mrs. Gibson has a dog named Zoey. On Day D, we have chorus. I like to ride bike with my friends.

  6. Imperative Sentences Put your pencil inside your desk. Check your answers carefully. Please raise your hand to speak. Run as fast as you can!

  7. Exclamatory Sentences What an awesome game! I can’t believe our team won! I don’t want to go to bed! This is the best book ever!

  8. Interjections Wow, that was a great game! Ouch! I stubbed my toe. Bravo, you did great! Hey! The ball’s headed right for you!

  10. Interjections * Interjections are words or phrases that express strong feelings such as surprise. * Interjections are set apart from the rest of the sentence, usually by an exclamation mark or comma.
