  1. Career Exploration Fair Poster Our chance to be seen throughout all the high schools

  2. Fair Poster- Main Idea • The board of personnel that operate the Career Exploration Fair have asked us to make posters for their event. • The information that has to be included is not very extensive, so this gives us a lot of room to be creative.

  3. What it’s got? • This poster has to grab their attention • Hey you, look Here! It has to scream that • The main information needs to be extremely legible, use some nice fonts but ensure they do not retract from readability. • A source for free fonts is: www.1001freefonts.com

  4. Creative • This is your chance to have your work displayed throughout all the high schools. • Photoshop some pictures • Use Fireworks to create • Leave some white space, don’t cram it all in • Needs to be 8.5 by 11, standard page size

  5. Information • Career Exploration Fair • March 25, 2009 (morning only) • For Juniors • Information that can be included • Over 100 presenters from local businesses and career fields • Held at Mesa State College • Sponsored by District 51 and School to Career Program • Free Breakfast provided • ACT Registration, same morning • Transportation (buses) provided • Drawing at each high school – prize = a portable DVD player - for filling out an evaluation

  6. Submissions due • You will have time during the week to complete this assignment. • It’s worth 20 points • Everyone has to submit at least one entry though you can put in more • Prizes for the winner, not sure what that is yet
