Recommendations to the regional authorities • Arrangements for EPI preparedness for a nuclear / radiological emergency • Institutionalize EPI-team under the Ministry of Radiation and Environment Safety • EPI-team must include specialists • Authorize the EPI-team to develop and test message maps for the most probable scenarios • Train and exercise the EPI-team regularly • Involve press-services of Mayak and EMERCOM in EPI exercises
