Definition Of Terms

1.Rhythmic Activities-physical manifestation of an individual to rhythm

2.Rhythm-measured motion or flow characterized regular recurrence of elements such as beats, sounds, accents and etc

1.Fundamental Rhthym-combination of locomotor and non-locomotor movements structured and organized to form natural dance

2.Rhythmic Interpretation-activities where individual interprets his own conception of the movement

  • Locomotormovement-movement of the body in any direction using the feet es the moving base

    1.Walking-done with the transference of weight from the heel to the ball of the foot

    2.Running-done with a free running action of the leg from the hip joint and prpper swinging of the arms

3. Jumping-done with a spring into the air from one or both feet then land on both feet

4.Leaping-done with springing into the air from one foot and landing on other foot

    1.Flexion-bendingor shortening of the body part occurring at a joint

    4.Vibratory-shaking or beating
