Northstar Family Support ProjectUnit 11c, Watch House Cross, Moyross, Limerick • Community-based project providing support to families of people suffering the effects of substance misuse • Provides non-judgemental support • through a process of self-empowerment and on-going coping skills ie. Novas Mid West Community Detoxc c/o McGarry House, Alphonsus Street, Limerick • Provides Safe Detox from Benzo’s & methadone on an outpatient basis (in the community) • A national initiative supported by the HSE and the Irish College of General Practitioners • Available to anyone in the Midwest • Links person with their doctor, through the support of a key worker for a monitored and safe detox • Individual care plans developed with person looking to detox.  061 467481  083 1232378 www.novas.ie
