  3. Move Mail/Address Book: OE • Moving local mail and address book • Mail stored in .dbx format • Find location • Copy all folders • Open OE and Import • Address Book • You can export mail directly into Outlook, make a .pst file and then reverse the process • Or…

  4. Moving local mail and address book Mail stored in .dbx format Find location Copy all folders Open OE and Import Address Book Outlook Express • right-click a local folder • Choose properties • Copy and paste the folder location into Start->Run (less the .dbx filename)

  9. Multiple Identities: OE • You can create multiple identities in OE • Each identity can be locked to a password • Identities = Profiles in Netscape

  10. Multiple Identities: OE • After creating your first identity, you can: • Add more by going to File->Identities->Manage Identities • Configure options for each Identity by opening each one and choosing Tools->Options and Tools->Accounts

  12. IMAP Synchronization: OE • You can sync folders in different ways. • You can highlight the mail server name for the Synchronize option • Right-click mail server name for option to reset list and view IMAP Folder list.

  13. Other Notes: OE • You cannot auto-complete addresses as you could in Netscape • You can add UD’s LDAP service under Tools->Accounts. Then type in a part of the address and click Check. • Demo
