  5. Isolating Wireless access over PHCC from regular users’ access – Higher Security

  6. HTTPS Internet Access filtering - implemented successfully

  7. On 18 Dec 2012 incident Server Recovery Procedure Applied (HQ Infrastructure Recovery with Minimal business interruption)

  8. Datacenters (HQ, HC and Barwa) servers and network monitoring and reporting system now in place, providing Infrastructure team with a better view of what is happening on PHCC servers and network as well as Health Centers’ servers and network. Email and SMS notifications sent to relevant ICT personnel. (This image shows monitoring interface for HC and some public servers only. Internal servers are monitored on a separate interface)

  9. 99.75% uptime statistics for Priority Public Servers

  10. Webmail Access for all HCs’ users (Outlook Email client and Outlook anywhere access is being planned for) SSL for HTTPS traffic screening on proxy server. Aimed to provide a more secure web browsing for HQ users

  12. IT Documentation for all processes and procedures – Improves quality of service and team efficiency, and helps in providing weekly tips to end-users. • A unified Desktop wallpaper with IT helpdesk email and contact being clearly displayed (as shown below)

  13. New Meeting Room Booking System in place. • Training provided to end-users, tutorials available for more help.

  14. For a better more organized Outlook address book and to meet Cerner requirements; Active Directory users’ details are being modified. • Deadline: 15th of March 2013. • Modifications include: • Name • Job Title • Location (Health Center Name) • Contact Number (Office & Mobile)

  15. 55HMC User creations. • 51HMC Application access as part of Medicom project in HC’s. • 451 helpdesk tickets opened. • HQ • Delivered 17 PC’s & 10 Laptop • Barwa • Delivered 5 PC’s • HC’s • Delivered 110 PC’s

  17. Barwa: • FM200 installed at BarwaDC. • BarwaDC works done, UPS/Cooling system IDUs and ODUs placed, waiting for the testing phase. • BarwaPower: Tender committee to decide granted bidder by 30th January.

  18. HCs’ HMC-to-PHCC Infrastructure Migration : • Site surveys done for a full detailed Asset tracking: • OBK • Westbay • Al-Rayyan • Requirement lists prepared for the 3 HCs. • User-lists collected for all the above HCs. • Al-DaayenHC to be done this week.

Cerner CIS: • Cabling and Wiring for all HCs as a part of fulfilling Cerner requirements: • Site surveys done for: • Al-Daayen • Al-Gharrafa • Al-Shahania • HCs requirements collected during the visits to be quoted for. • SLAs and Contract finalized with Qtel for CIS hosting and connectivity (PROD, DR, COMMS)

Qmatic: • Al-Rayyan HC went live: • Smoother flow of patients. • Higher productivity achieved. • Patients' satisfaction witnessed - a Newspaper report was published in the widely spread Arab Newspaper dated 17th January. • Mesaimeer HC: • Installations almost done. • Training planned for next Sunday. • HC goes live first week of February.

  23. Databases : • Data Backup Server:- • Implemented a primary backup server located in HQ and Secondary backup server in Barwa. • Enable Oracle EM for monitoring and notification purposes

  24. SMS • SMS integrated with the Monitoring System of the Systems team. • Working to integrate SMS across most of our systems.
