  2. Go to www.turnitin.com Register as a new user Class ID: Enrollment Password: chomsky

  3. Change from …/lang=th to …/lang=en

  4. Enter the ‘class ID’ and ‘class enrollment password’ given to you by your instructor

  5. Click on our class

  6. Locate the appropriate assignment, and click “submit”

  7. Upload your submission

  8. Review your submission one final time and click “submit”

  9. Return to the main screen by clicking “go to portfolio”

  10. To check the report generated for your submission, click “show details”

  11. Green = OK Orange = you probably have plagiarized; Click on the box with orange and percentage to see the problem areas. Then check your paper again, make necessary changes, and resubmit it. Red = You certainly have plagiarized and are in danger of receiving an F in the course. Click on the box with red and percentage to see the problem areas. Then make changes to your paper and resubmit it.

  12. After you click on the box with color and percentage, you’ll be taken to a screen that shows the sections in your paper that are word-for-word the same as what is written in other sources (provided on the right.)

  13. After you have made changes to your paper on your computer, save the new file, return to the assignment screen on Turnitin.com, and resubmit your paper. Repeat the whole process until you have a “green” originality report.
