Becoming a Pediatrician • When becoming a pediatrician it takes a lot of hard word and dedication to your school work, to studying and to making good grades. • Pediatricians are very highly looked at in the work force, they are always needed. • There is always jobs in the field of employment. There can never be to many pediatricians.

  3. When working as a pediatrician you will see all kinds of different kids with different problems, some may not have any problems at all. • Some of the sicknesses that the kids may have are: • Stroke • Sweating • Short stature • Shortness of breath • Hearing loss • Hair loss • Fever

  4. To get your PHD at east Carolina university • 54 hours a semester beyond your masters • at least 2/3 of the course work at doctorial level • you have to have at least 5 consecutive semesters on campus • Conduct a research project • must complete a candidacy exam

  5. Day-to-day activities • Meet patient and their parents get their information and begin to analyze and evaluate the situation once they have discussed the problem with the other physicians they with take the possible solutions go back to the patient and parents and tell them what they have come up with and see what they want to do.

  6. Salary Between $75,000- $500,000
