  2. With computing technologies ever developing, vehicles turn out to be more electrical than mechanical devices. It is attributable to the introduction of computer-based technology in developing and manufacturing cars. For starters, cars are equipped with programmable modules that can often be modified based on the car owner 's needs. Chip tuning takes place in such a scenario, with modernized cars. Chip tuning is a mechanism by which the processor in a car called an EPROM is modified. EPROM stands for ram read-only programmable erasable. This is a component of memory storage which retains its data despite being switched off. If needed, such memory can be deleted and equipped with another system. Once a computer erases the initial data, fresh data is processed in the computer. Typically the latest data or system is modified to remove any restrictions that govern the fuel injection and valve timing. Chip tuning is normally done to improve a car's performance. Usually the chip is customized to a certain level of performance when automobiles are produced. EPROM chip modification is typically performed to restrict cars to a certain standard of efficiency in order to satisfy the legal standards or environmental status of different vehicles. This is such that the cars can be used anywhere in the world without any problems developing or breaching state laws.

Thus, computer tuning is performed to adjust the software system thus enhancing the efficiency of a vehicle. A car won't be restricted to production or more input until chip tuning is completed. This ensures that the engine can produce more power and will enable a car to run on the roads even smoother and quicker.
