  5. Negotiation Of Benefits Is Possible! Suggestion #1 Possibility of salary increase in 6 months? Suggestion #2 How about stock options?

  6. Suggestion #4 Expense accounts and/or club memberships? Suggestion #5 Signing bonuses and/or relocation expenses? Suggestion #3 Accessories (as in cell phones, pagers, and laptop computers) Suggestion #6 Flexible work arrangements: perhaps you have a vacation already planned? Unpaid vacation time? Maybe you can work from home? Telecommuting? Flex-time?

  8. For Salary Negotiating. . . Justify your position to the seeking company! Make company feel it’s a Win-Win situation! Ask yourself, how can you benefit them if they pay you more? Let recruiters know you are interviewing with other companies! Tell the interviewer why you are worth more money! Describe past work experiences. You are fresh out of college and “ready to be molded!”

And Remember, Whatever The Offer. . . • Keep your cool! • Always be happy and appreciated of the offer. . .act flattered! • Be honest about your opinions (quietly)! • Maintain a friendly, professional manner! • Never wait until the deadline to start discussing! • Always remember your own personal values and morals!
