So that I can: make sense and persevere to solve problems connected to previously learned skills I will know I got it when: I can complete my skills drills independently with 100% accuracy. 6.MP.1 6.NS

Language Objective By the end of the lesson, students will be able to use the language domains of reading and writing to communicate the academic math language of concepts, including inequalities, opposites, absolute values, operations with integers and evaluating expressions. • They will show they understand by making sense and persevering to solve problems connected to previously learned skills and by completing their skills drills independently with 100% accuracy. Academic Math Language Vocabulary: inequalities, opposites, absolute values, operations, integers expressions

  4. “Skills Drills” • Student Centered • Proficiently complete four (4) skills = 100% on a quiz

  5. “Skills Drills” Student will work on 1 skill packet at a time. When done, student will check with teacher. Teacher will give the student a check, if all correct. If not, student will need to correct and check again. EVERYTHING IS DUE TO ME BY 6/15
