  2. PowerPoint Basics • Look in your “My Documents” and “CA” folders for all that we’ve completed. • Tell me about your Word, Excel, Access and PPT projects in a slide show.

  3. A Little About Each Application • Creating and Editing a Word Document • Working with Formulas in Excel • Creating and Editing a Database • Querying a Database • Creating a Presentation

  4. Organization chart Format text and tables Drawing toolbar/autoshapes/callouts Charts Resize and scale an object Working with Visual Elements

  5. Ending Slide • End your presentation with a good ending slide.

  6. Rules (VIP) • At least 10 slides • The text on the slides should follow the 7 x 7 rule which is: No more than 7 words or 7 lines on each slide! • Add animation, clip art, sound, change the layouts and designs. Do something new or different to personalize your presentation.

  7. When Due? • All students must be finished before we begin viewing the presentations in class. • Due date: Monday, May 9, 2011 • Have fun! May 9, 2011
