  2. Habitat The Cinereous Vulture lives in Northern Africa and Spain east through China and Thailand. It lives on dry plains, grasslands and mountainous forests.

  3. Adaptation #1 The Cinereous Vulture has a massive beak that is well suited for feeding on tough material such as sinew, dry skin, and muscle. This helps them eat the food.

  4. Adaptation #2 The Cinereous Vultures sharp eyesight helps the vulture spot carcasses from far above. This helps them so they can see their food.

  5. Adaptation #3 The short feathers on the Cinereous Vultures head and neck keep the bird healthy by keeping gore off their head.

  6. Interesting Information The Cinereous Vultures status is near threatened. A large bird, the Cinereous Vulture can measure more than three feet in height and has a wingspan that can extend up to ten feet.
