  4. Follow their social handles! • Social media has proved to be a boon in the days of social distancing. • While it’s no secret that everyone here uses social media. Art and creative content there is accessible to a wider audience. • It is never too late, if you know a friend or relative is an artist you can encourage them to show their work, process to connect with the audience, build relations and simply express who they are from the comfort of their studio. • Follow the artist and their work on Instagram or Facebook if you don’t already.

Contribute by buying their art • Whether you are working from home or taking at home yoga breaks, have the love for art and music you can simply support them by streaming their music or buy an art that you feel connected to. • Artists and creators generally rely on touring or exhibiting their arts but this can and will help them in these uncertain times. • Keep listening to the tunes or watch their videos on youtube, learn something new to feel connected.

Be the art tastemaker! • Share the artists you are listening to with your colleagues by creating a playlist or share their vlogs in Slack channels or in Google Hangouts. • If you are using the platform on which they showcase their art, you can share their content on groups, Instagram or Twitter. • Growing them and supporting them will involve making a bit of efforts and the right platforms. • If you have been eying on their merch for a long time, now is the right time to get those. Buy that favorite hoodie or t-shirt and promote it on social channels and tag them.
