  8. In Part Three, we’re thankful for God’s instructions, His blessings and His Holy Spirit who empowers us to live abundantly.

  9. Please stand with me for the reading of the Word of God.

  10. Matthew 6:25-32 Do not be anxious for your life, as to what you shall eat, or what you shall drink; nor for your body, as to what you shall put on. Is not life more than food, and the body than

  11. Matthew 6:25-32 clothing? Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.

  12. Matthew 6:25-32 Are you not worth much more than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single cubit to his life span? And why are you anxious about clothing?

  13. Matthew 6:25-32 Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin, yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory did not clothe himself like one of these.

  14. Matthew 6:25-32 But if God so arrays the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more do so for you, O men of little faith?

  15. Matthew 6:25-32 Do not be anxious then, saying, “What shall we eat?” or “What shall we drink?” or “With what shall we clothe ourselves?”

  16. Matthew 6:25-32 For all these things the Gentiles eagerly seek; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

  17. Matthew 6:33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

  18. Matthew 6:34 So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

  19. Psalm 33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance.

  20. Let’s pray!

  21. What does it mean to be blessed?

  22. H835אשׁר'esher / eh'-sherFrom H833; happiness; only in masculine plural construction as interjection, how happy!: - blessed, happy.

  23. G3107μακάριοςmakarios / mak-ar'-ee-osSupremely blest; by extension fortunate, welloff: - blessed, happy.

  24. H1288בּרךbârak / baw-rak'To kneel; by implication to bless God (as an act of adoration), and (vice-versa) man (as a benefit); abundantly bless, congratulate, praise, salute, thank.

  25. Why is a nation blessed whose God is the LORD?

  26. Is it simply because of His protection and power?

  27. Is it because of His character or abilities?

  28. Is it because of His constant presence?

  29. Let’s think about the example of an earthly father who is Godly and present in the home.

  30. Statistics are screaming that the largest crisis we face in society is the lack of Godly male leadership in the home.

  31. The Hallmark example!

  32. Love, structure and consistency are so very important.

  33. One God,one people,one set of rules.

  34. How can we intentionally position ourselves to be happy?

  35. Bow the knee!

  40. Deuteronomy 28:1-14 in and blessed shall you be when you go out. The LORD will cause your enemies who rise up against you to be defeated before you; they shall come out

  44. Deuteronomy 28:1-14 And the LORD will make you abound in prosperity, in the offspring of your body and in the offspring of your beasts and in the produce of your ground, in the land which the

  45. Deuteronomy 28:1-14 LORD swore to your fathers to give you. The LORD will open for you His good storehouse, the heavens, to give rain to your land in its season and to bless all the

  46. Deuteronomy 28:1-14 work of your hand; and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. And the LORD shall make you the head and not the tail, and you only shall be above,
