  3. Install Truecrypt on a Traveler Proceed to the Truecrypt Traveler Install in The Truecrypt 6.1 installer Travelers are Completely Self-Contained so you DO NOT Need to install The Truecrypt Program on your Computer to run Traveler drives! What is the Next Step?

  4. Install Truecrypt 6.1 Run the Truecrypt V 6.1 Program Installer What is the next Step?

  5. Remove Newer Version If the Truecrypt version is NEWER than 6.1 (such as 6.1a) YOU MUST use Add/Remove Programs To REMOVE the NEWER version! What is the next Step?

  6. TruecryptInternal and External Will you also need to use Truecrypt for Internal drives such as P: drive or P: & S: drives or an External (USB) drive on this system? Yes | No

Test the Traveler With the Flash-drive connected you will notice a shortcut on your desktop named ‘StopTrav.cmd’ This is used to unmount the Truecrypt volume as drive R: After unmounting remove the flash-drive. When you re-insert the flash-drive AutoRun should prompt you… Choose ‘Run Traveler Mode’ Continue

  10. Test the Traveler After choosing ‘Run Traveler Mode’ You will be prompted to enter the password for mounting the Truecrypt volume. You will also be asked if you want to Share the volume on your network. Continue

  11. You are Done! You should now see the Mounted ‘R:’ drive With the name ‘TADISKT’ From ‘My Computer’ Your Traveler is now ready to use! Congratulations!
