Award Objective Stemming from Emirates Transport’s vision and its strategic objectives in excellence and leadership, and in efforts to promote the culture of excellence among the concerned groups, the organisation has launched “the Emirates Transport Suppliers Excellence Award” in order to encourage suppliers to develop their business in a sustainable manner, ensure the continuous improvement of operations, raise the level of awareness and interest in the areas of social responsibility and raise the level of internal customer satisfaction who benefits from the services of suppliers.

  4. Entities Eligible to Participate: The award is specified for Emirates Transport’s accredited suppliers, who are registered in the United Arab Emirates and have been dealt with for over a year. Award Participation: The Procurement Management will invite the suppliers to participate in the award, which the organization announces every year in October, where the announcement is made on the website of the organization, in addition to social media and the mass media. The invited company to participate in the award will receive the invitation, which includes the standards of the award and date of applying the model and the participation file from the Support Services department (Procurement Management).

  5. Award Process: The award is consisting of 6 stage: 1: Invitation: The Procurement Management will invite the qualified companies to participate in the award, and these companies have to respond to the call and express their willingness to participate, attaching a copy of the applicable business licence, the company’s brochures and a list of contracts (purchase orders). 2: Submission of files: The suppliers, who showed their willingness to participate in the award, will be handed a copy of the award files, including definition of the award, evaluation criteria, and guidelines of filling the form and files delivery. 3: Evaluation of companies: A resident team, within Emirates Transport, of qualified and experienced members will evaluate all the participating files in the award.

Field visit: Participants who obtained an evaluation qualifying them to win the award will be checked on the ground to verify some standards and point notes if existed. 5. Awarding winning parties: The committee of Suppliers Management, depending on the reports of the evaluation team and resident visiting team, will determine the winning parties. 6. Excellence Forum: The announcement of award-winning entities and handing them the awards will be made in the “Annual Excellence Suppliers Forum”.

Award Categories: Suppliers are being honored as follows: -Outstanding Supplier category (general award). -Outstanding Supplier in the field of Customer Care. - Outstanding Supplier in the field of Green Applications - Outstanding Supplier in the field of Social Responsibility - Outstanding Supplier in the field of Creativity and Innovation

  10. Award Criteria: Participants will be evaluated based on 7 criteria according to the statements below. Each standard includes secondary standards that are measured on three axes: plans, applications and results. It will also be provided supporting documents to each standard for checking and matching data provided in self-assessment model.
