  1. Great drama Movies all the time We will face challenges in life, forcing us to dig deep and find perseverance. Drama strikes us in those areas that feel most authentic - so it strikes everyone slightly differently based on their personal experiences. Dunkirk Christopher Nolan is a master who uses his brain and substance to present wonders. He turned his attention to a little-known historical corner (at least for most people outside Britain) and produced a satisfying and exciting great war movie. The film is set during World War II in 1940. It tells the story of British, French, Belgian and Dutch troops trapped on the Dunkirk beach by German troops and miraculously evacuated by civilian ships provided by local people. A movie story so perfect that it's unbelievable to think it's based on facts. It is almost a drama movie based on true story. The Asphalt Jungle If you want to know more about the sub types of noir movies, this drama movie should be one of your first homework assignments. The Asphalt Jungle, directed by Hollywood legend John Houston, tells about a failed robbery - because not all robberies must fail— — And it has all the characteristics of the classic black drama movie: the dark shadow falls on the dark person, double and triple crosses, and dramatic tension. The Farewell An aspiring writer (Awkwafina) and her family returned to China to visit the terminally ill matriarch - but she was the only one who did not know. Wang Lulu's films are warm and interesting, but also deal with loss, love and contact (to one's family and one's heritage). A very lovely drama movie is also a special transformation of Awkwafina, who calmly handles the intricate balance between comedy and drama. Boyhood If you have heard of "Teenager", you may have heard of its unusual gestation period: the drama movie was shot for 12 years, so the hero Ellar Coltrane can age in real time. But don't think this drama movie is just a gimmick. Richard Linklater created an adult movie you've never seen before. Sadness, fun, embarrassment, and everything in between, this is a rewarding and fascinating journey. Moonlight Moonlight tells the story of a young black man named Chiron who came of age in

  2. Miami, but everything from the quiet intensity to the unique "three chapters" structure goes against expectations and takes you on a real emotional journey. It is full of absolutely amazing performances - especially the Oscar winner Mahshala Ali - this is a drama movie that reminds you that art forms can do so well. It shows the life of the triumphant star and the people in his community with elegance and style. Gladiator Ridley Scott's drama movie tells about a Roman general who was betrayed, died and came back to life, and then began a slow and violent revenge as a gladiator. This drama movie is epic in any sense. From the painstaking representation of all the authority and architectural glory of ancient Rome to the amazing action sequence, it is huge visually and equally magnificent emotionally. Russell Crowe is as charming as the vengeful Maximus, while Joaquin Phoenix is as threatening as the crying emperor. This dramatic film is an adventure. Tokyo Story A seemingly simple story tells the story of a retired couple who went from the countryside to Tokyo to visit their adult children and the widow of their (missing and presumed dead) intermediate son. The Tokyo story is about promoting quiet moments and unspoken things. Director Ozu's camera is kept low (almost like the dialogue in which the audience sits on a traditional Japanese tatami), almost motionless, and keeps a careful slow rhythm to make the dialogue linger. A slow burning, but a beautiful drama movie. Manchester by the Sea Some dramas have rectal endings, while others seem to consist of a series of straight punches lasting for two hours. Manchester by the sea is starred by Kathy Affleck, who is a man suffering from depression. He adopted his nephew after his brother died, just like the winter in Massachusetts, which is gray, overcast and almost as emotional. But it is carried by an unbelievable low-key but powerful performance (not only from the great Affleck, but also from Michelle Williams, Affleck's ex-wife, and Lucas Hutchison, a nephew), and it leaves you some hope at the end (this is the least you can do on the journey to get there). Hidden Figures Tell the true story of three talented African American women who worked at NASA in the 1960s - Catherine Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Von (Octavia Spencer) and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monae) - hiding people and objects makes these women deserve honor long ago and regard them as the real brain that allows astronaut John Glen to enter orbit. This feminist drama movie is an elaborate and fascinating tribute to women whose names should be known and respected, and an integral part of the American space program legend.

  3. Lady Bird Mrs. Bird has achieved a perfect balance between drama and comedy. Most of the humor comes from (usually timid) the recognition of young people on the cusp of maturity, warts and everything. Greta Gawaig's drama movie tells the story of a young high school graduate who is about to graduate and is eager to start her life in a place far away from her hometown, Sacramento. It is mainly launched by the stars Saolis Ronan and Raul Metcalfe as a mother daughter duo. Face your head in a nervous, funny and familiar way. Sunset Blvd. An elderly silent movie star (Gloria Swanson) hired a young screenwriter (William Holden) to help her film comeback. Next is about one of Hollywood's greatest movies and the double-edged sword of fame. It plays like a classic black drama movie in some parts, and it may be very interesting in other times. Of course, the last sentence "Well, Mr. DeMiller, I'm ready for close-up..." is unforgettable and very symbolic. Portrait of a Lady on Fire Set in France in the late 18th century, Portrait of a Lady on Fire is about a female artist who is commissioned to paint the wedding portrait of a countess’ daughter. The two develop an attraction, which grows despite societal pressure. Director Celine Sciamma crafts an absolutely stunning and sumptuous romance that feels old-fashioned and modern at the same time. This LGBTQ film is a stirring and gorgeous achievement from start to finish.
