  2. Please verify your email address and write your name and cell phone number. If you’re new to CCS, please write your name, email address, and cell phone number next to your child’s name. Anyone who is interested in being a room-parent, please put a check mark on the Room-Parent column next to your child’s name. Welcome to First Grade Class!

  3. Supplies & Make-up Assignments • Please check regularly and make sure your child has all the school supplies such as sharpen pencils, erasers, crayons, Expo markers, scissors, glue sticks. Having school supplies is one of important factors of achieving successful school year! • Make-up assignments for absentees: Your child is responsible for making sure that he/she copies missed homework assignments down. Your child will pick up the make-up assignment when he/she comes back to school. Make-up test and quiz will be provided if it’s necessary.

  4. Folders & Monthly Classroom News Letter • Homework folder and Homework Agenda (September) go home daily. • Work Habits & Behavior folder goes home weekly. • Graded Papers folder goes home twice a month. • Please check these folders regularly and send them back with your child. • Monthly Classroom Newsletter will be sent home every month starting in September. Grades • Grades 100 - 97 = Outstanding(O) 96 - 93 = O- 92 - 90 = G+ 89 - 87 = Good(G) 86 - 85 = G- 84 - 80 = S+ 79 - 75 = Satisfactory(S) 74 - 70 = S- 69 & Below = Need to Be Improved (NI) H = Handwriting grade Gradelink Login Information: Gradelink login information sheet was sent home today. Please check your child’s Homework folder. When you log in you should verify that your email is up-to-date in Gradelink.

Honor Rolls / Principal’s List/Chapel STAR/ Student of Month “A” Honor Roll Students must receive "O-" or above in these subjects and have no check marks:Religion, Language Arts (Reading and English), Handwriting, Spelling, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science. Students must receive “G” or above in these areas: Art, Computer, Music, P.E., Spanish, Work Habits, and Behavior. “B” Honor Roll Students must receive "G" or above in these subjects:Religion, Language Arts (Reading and English), Handwriting, Spelling, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, Work Habits, Behavior, Art, Computer, Music, P.E., Spanish. • Principal’s List: A student who receives “O” in Work Habits and Behavior grades. • Chapel STAR: A student who does an excellent work in his/her class assignment. • Student of the Month: A student who exemplifies characters for each month theme.
