  4. Step 1: Take the SAT • Register today! • http://sat.collegeboard.org/home • Most students take the SAT during their junior or senior year in high school. At least half of all students take the SAT twice — in the spring of their junior year and in the fall of their senior year. • Want to Practice? • FREE practice questions at sat.collegeboard.org!

  5. Step 2: Research Fill out FAFSA Apply to your School(s) Research Schools/Majors Take the SAT

Step 2: Research • If you know what college(s) you’re interested in: • Go to college website • Click Admissions (for Undergraduates) • Example: http://www.medaille.edu/ • If you know your interests: • SUNY Program Search • http://www.suny.edu/student/search_programs/currfd_oas_main.cfm • Check school’s website

  7. Degrees • Certificate • 3 months-2 years • Associates • 2 years • Bachelors • 4 years • Undergraduate student
