  2. Objectives Recognize the importance and advantages of introducing the E-lessons to the learners. Familiarize with the different elements that constitute a complete electronic lesson. Gain knowledge in developing user-friendly electronic lesson and, Create interactive electronic lessons and demonstrate to the participants the various techniques in preparing e-lessons.

  3. Overview Electronic lesson is designed to provide intervention to the transfer of learning without the assistance of the teacher.

  4. It must be pointed out that electronic lesson is very useful whenever the teacher is not available to assist the learner because it’s a self-learning and interactive application.Another advantage of introducing the electronic lesson is that it can be easily accessed, shared and reproduced using computer.

  5. One must remember that the lesson is introduced to the learner using the multi media. ( Computer to be specific ) It is expected that the learner has no prior knowledge about the content of the lesson. The learner knows only to open the file, click the mouse and type on the keyboard.

  11. Because the learner will experience studying the lesson alone, the author of the E Lesson must consider the following tips in preparing the lesson.

  12. The lesson must be user-friendly1. This means the lesson must be learned through clicking / typing .2. From the start, it is advisable to show the menu of the lesson.( watch the presentation on Light in focus ) or give introduction(watch my trial presentation )3. Use action buttons likestart here, back, next, forward, home, quit etc.

  13. 4. Avoid using a template for your slide background.5. Avoid too long lectures and problem solving. ( watch the presentation on friction ) 6. Make use of colorful animations. The background must match the slide presentation. ( watch the presentation on phases of moon “ Regional E- Lesson champion 2010 2011” )

  14. 7. The lesson should be interactive. Hyperlinks are essential to the application.( watch the assessment in the phases of moon )8. You may insert videos, sound effects, narration from natural reader or animations to add colors to your presentation.9. Consider topics that are interesting. They may not be very substantial but easy to remember.

  15. 10 During Evaluation, use affirmative words for correct answers like “your right” “that’s it” but avoid striking comments to wrong answers like “you are wrong” instead use “ try another one or go back and choose another answer”. 11. Slide animation’s entrance, timing, effects etc. should be smooth and not annoying.
