  2. TURKISH CHAMBER OF FOREST ENGINEERS • established in 1954 (Law no: 6235 and 3485 ) • under the Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects (UCTEA) • a non-profit public institution • more than 12 000 members • 13 regional branches in Country

TURKISH CHAMBER OF FOREST ENGINEERS • Objectives: • To satisfy the common needs of forest engineers, • To facilitate the professional activities and to ensure the development of the professions in accordance with the common benefits, • To sustain professional discipline and ethics relations so as to ensure honesty and trust in the relations among colleagues and their relations with public, • To take all necessary initiatives and organize activities/events aiming to protect interest of public and country; protect, manage and develop forests and to contribute to technical, economic and social development of country.

TURKISH CHAMBER OF FOREST ENGINEERS • Inissues related with forestry profession and its interests, • The TCFE cooperates with official institutions and other organizations, and hence provides help and voices through its proposals. • It has also a number of regulatory functions that examines entire legislation, norms, scientific specifications and standard contracts and similar and relevant scientific documents related to profession and make suggestions concerning their amendment, improvement or re-application.

TURKISH CHAMBER OF FOREST ENGINEERS • TCFE aims; • To represent the Turkish forest engineers in the country in professional, economic, social, and cultural areas; • To protect and improve their rights and interests on the basis of the common interest of our people; • Toensure its member to develop their professional, social and cultural capacity; • To provide a common ground to use their professional experiences for the benefit of public.

  6. TURKISH CHAMBER OF FOREST ENGINEERS TCFE; caries out academic and technical studies on forestry and forest engineering issues, organizes training and education seminars, conferences, workshops, panels, technical congresses, national and international meetings etc. makes publications on forests and forestry issues.
