  4. Date and Time • Debate Seminar • August 2, 2009 • 9:00am – 12:00nn • Debate Eliminations • August 23, 2009 • 8:00am – 6:00pm • Debate Finals • August 30, 2009 • 8:00am – 6:00pm

  10. Logistics and Food • The Art of Timing • After 1st minute  1 clap • After 6th minute  1 clap • After 7th minute  2 claps • 7:10  3 claps • 7:20  3 claps • 8:00  don’t stop clapping • For Points of Information (POIs)  after 15 seconds: “Out of Order”

Logistics and Food • The Art of Running • Eliminations: Rounds 1 and 2 • Give Adjudication Feedback Sheet to each team in the room. • Give the Adjudicator’s Sheets to adjudicators. • Right after the debate, get the sheets from the adjes and bring it to the Tabs Room for encoding. • Go back to the room and wait for adjudication of debaters. After, get Feedback Sheets from each team.

  12. Logistics and Food • The Art of Running • Eliminations (Round 3) and Finals • Give the Adjudicator’s Sheets to adjudicators. • Right after the debate, get the sheets from the adjes and bring it to the Tabs Room for encoding.

  13. Promotions and Documentation • Head: Nin Manalo • Maximum of 15 members (5 per day) • In charge of • promotional materials • following-up on invites • media partners • documentation

  14. Programs • Head: Reinier de Guzman • Maximum of 17 members (5 for seminar, 6 each for elims and finals) • Seminar • adjes’ resumes • assist adjes and debaters

  20. Other Details • ALL Junior Reps are automatically part of the Marketing Committee. However, they are also required to help out in another committee of their choice, preferably in the Logistics Committee.
