  2. What are teaching aids ? The aids which can be used by the teacher in his or her classes in order to help learners to learn easily, effectively and enjoyably are called teaching aids. For example- flashcard, model, chart, picture, radio, television, computer etc. The most important thing to keep in mind that teachers have a lot of text book pictures to use. Teachers and students also could be used as a teaching aids. For example- if teacher wants to teach the meaning of the word “teacher” She/ he can use herself/ himself as a teaching aids by saying – ‘ I am a teacher.’ It would be good idea to use students or teacher herself/himself as a model to teach parts of the body

  4. Visual teaching aids The teaching aids which help students to understand the lesson well are called visual teaching aids. For example– picture, models, chart, realia etc. Audio teaching aids The teaching aids which help students to listen in the classes for their understanding are called audio teaching aids. For example– radio, cassettes etc.

  5. Visual teaching aids The teaching aids which help students to look and listen both at a time for their better understanding are called audio- visual teaching aids. For example- television.

  7. How can teachers use the blackboard ? few points to be followed by the teacher to use the BB. They are -- 1.Write on the bb neatly and cleanly so that students understand what you have written. 2.Don’t write on the bb if you wants to do the drilling first. 3. Bring students to the bb to write. 4. Don’t stand in front the bb if you want students to see. 5. Don’t clean the bb immediately if you want students to copy it. 6. Write on the bb in organized way– write from left to right / top to bottom not . 8. Rub writing if you are not going to use it anymore.
