Informacion basic • En Enero del 2013, fue reportado que 2,054 tipos de especies están en peligro de extinción o son especies amenazadas (en alerta de extinción) globalmente. - Solo en los estados Unidos ahí 1,436. • In January 2013, it reported that 2,054 species worldwide are endangered or threatened. ** 1,436 in the U.S. alone • 50% de los animales en peligro de extinción viven en la selva tropical llamada El Amazon. -En el ultimo siglo a perdido mas de 17% de lo que cubría debido a actividad humana. • 50 percent of all endangered species live in the Amazon rainforest. - The Amazon lost more than 17 percent of its forest cover in the last century due to human activity.
