  2. Some People take the first thingthat comes along After they’re out of High School. What’s wrong with this picture?

  3. Employers Pay for skills! How do you get skills? School - High School graduation- the minimum Technical School: GTI, SLCC College/University: BA Professional Schools: PhD, MD, DDS, etc

  4. The more training or education you get The More they pay you!! Professional Degree Did not graduate

  5. When you think about a career…Consider three things What are you really interested in … Is there a career there? Ice Cream taster? What do you think?

  6. Next .. What are you good at?

  7. Talent is something you are naturally good at!

  8. Then there is what is available Where you want to be. At a salary you would need to live on.

  9. This is where the “rubber meets the Road. For many, this will Be the first time you will ever have to take what you have earned. Your Job will be Determined by you 1st Term GPA

  10. Just like in real life, you are considered for a jobif you are qualified.“Qualification” means you have the skills to be able to do the work the job requires. Example: You want to work as an electrician, you have to complete the training, no training, no job.

  11. Next week, we will get your GPA You will have to select a job on the list for which your are elegible.

  12. Your Income for Reality Town will . be based on your job. Some will have a lot of income, , .others won’t have very much.

  13. Next time we talk, we’ll tell you . how Reality Town works.Just remember, your grades do . . . . count in Reality Town, just like your preparation does in real Life.

  14. You will have fun! . And we hope that you will that .Getting an education matters.. . . Big Time!!!
