  19. Likely Candidates • Who's more likely to drive drowsy? • Commercial drivers. • Shift workers (work the night shift or long shifts). • Drivers with untreated sleep disorders • Drivers who use sedating medications. • Drivers who do not get adequate sleep

  21. How to Prevent • Get enough sleep! • 7-8 Hours for Adults • 9-10 Hours for adolescents • If you have or suspect a sleep disorder -seek treatment • No Sedating Medications • Don’t Drink - Alcohol Amplifies the effects
