A message from NLSC - Tony Burgess Senior e-Learning Policy Manager : • The LSC process of embedding e learning into The Learning & Skills Sector started with FE and then went onto Adult & Community Learning. The next stage is embedding this into work based providers • The NLSC see this as a strategic priority – to influence senior leaders of work based learning into strategic eLT development • NLSC have requested feedback from providers on what development is required. New guidance on e-learning is being developed for providers at national office from April 2006. • NLSC e-learning action plan

  4. Aim To enable senior managers and leaders in work based learning provision to develop and implement eLT strategies

  5. Objectives • To develop WBL understanding of the key benefits of strategic eLT application • To enable leaders & managers to develop and implement effective eLT strategies • To allow providers to analyse and clarify the current state of e-learning in their organisations • Build on and extend existing best practice • To respond to organisational need

ConnecT : eLT development programme for WBL learners Module 1 Module 2 Module 3 Equipping yourself for strategic eLT development Developing an eLT strategy in the workplace Follow-up and review One day interactive session Distance coaching and mentoring provided by CEL Mentoring and coaching provided by CEL
