Diagnostiek bij vermoeden van persoonlijkheidspathologie • Bij vermoeden van persoonlijkheidspathologie: voer grondige assessment uit (Feenstra & Hutsebaut, 2009) • Vraag de ontwikkelingsgeschiedenis goed uit • Maak gebruik van meerdere informanten • Maak gebruik van (semi-) gestructureerde interviews, zoals SCID I en SCID II • Maak gebruik van persoonlijkheidsvragenlijsten, zoals MMPI-A, DIPSI, SIPP • Vul je gegevens aan met projectief materiaal, zoals de Rorschach, TAT, tekeningen

Casus: onderzoeksvragen • Op welk cognitief niveau functioneert patiënte? • Kan de lijdensdruk door middel van psychologisch onderzoek meer zichtbaar worden? • Hoe ligt de balans tussen draagkracht en draaglast? • Zijn er aanwijzingen dat patiënte bij toenemende spanningen overspoeld raakt? Bestaat de kans dat patiënte bij oplopende spanning het contact met de realiteit verliest?
