  2. Map of Egypt • Egypt is a country in North Africa. The population in 2009 was 82,999,393. Egypt has the biggest river in the world, The Nile river. It is 6,650 km(4,132 miles) long. Most of them live by the banks of this river.

  3. Hosni Mubarak

  4. Former Leader of Egypt Hosni Mubarak was forced to step down on February 2011 by his own people. During the 30 years Mubarak was president the government was totally corrupt, prices for goods kept going up. Egyptians stood up for their rights and got what they wanted. Egypt is now under the rule of Supreme Military Council until the 2012 elections. • Mubarak is a Sunni Muslim male born on May 4, 1928 in Kafr-El Meselha, Egypt. He has a wife with the name of Suzanne Mubarak with 2 sons Alaa and Gamal.

  5. Revolutionary war 2 Vs. American Egyptian

  6. America vs. Egypt: Similarity • They both lived under a cruel dictatorship • People from different countries came and helped them fight for their rights • They both ended up to what they wanted to happen • Leaders ruled for a very long time • Religious reasons

  7. America vs. Egypt: Differences • Stakes were high during the Egyptian Revolution • Americans had a political leader appointed by the government, George Washington • Egypt went through violence and cruelty but no wars were accured like the American Revolution

  8. Where is my country going? • Right now we’re not sure. We’re under the control of The Supreme Military Council waiting for the 2012 elections. The Gamal inheritance scenario is over with. We’re heading back towards the “Golden ages” and now the people are satisfied with the results of their hard working and sacrafice.
