  • Money poured into developing countries raises their standard of living

  • Encourages creativity and innovation while keeping prices lower

  • Improved interaction and coordination between governments

  • Greater access to foreign cultures…more choices (music, food, clothing, etc.)

  • Outsourcing hurts local community

  • Individuality begin to fade

  • Greater chance of disease being global

  • Little international regulation

  • Exploitation of poor countries by the rich (assisted by World Bank and IMF)

    • Brainstorm 3 areas in your life that have been positively effected by globalization (be specific)

    • Brainstorm 3 areas in your life that have been negatively effected by globalization (again be specific)

    • Where does your group stand on the issue of globalization, is it a good or bad thing? MUST TAKE ONE SIDE and be ready to defend it. (Answer the questions as a group)
