  13. The Future of Rotary IS IN YOUR HANDS Club Action • Every club is asked to… • Organise a Polio fund-raising event in their own community • Link with local schools and colleges. • Organise a ‘Window of Opportunity’. • Obtain wide-ranging media coverage of these events

  14. The Future of Rotary IS IN YOUR HANDS Schools • Identify target schools • Get agreement from school Heads • Tell the children the Polio story • Find Polio sufferers in your area • Set up Purple Pinkie Day

  16. The Future of Rotary IS IN YOUR HANDS Celebrity Dinner • Around 23rd February 2010 • Theme – TfL Kicks Polio for Touch • Use Rugby Celebrities as focus • Involve other celebrities • Select a venue • Look for sponsors • Lots of publicity • Lots of money raised
