  1. Workshop El Paraíso, Huehuetenango, 2010

CONCEPT • The idea behind this art workshop moved around providing creative and imaginary-thinking activities to children in the area. • Its essential foundation was to lead kids and teenagers towards a deeper reflection on their social environment and to develop a better use of their imaginative resources in order to shape them and materialize them in a fun way.

  3. TECHNIQUES • Using educational methods that promote idea generation and free creative thinking, together with an empathic attitude towards the environment and the people that inhabit it, art was used as an instrument for kids to become explorers of themselves and their external environment, to discover, learn and think..

  5. Tree of Wishes • A tree was made out of recycled materials, where children hung and will keep hanging their wishes and dreams.

  6. A Child's Wish “I wish for trees to grow and everyone to be happy”

  7. Mayan mythology Hombre de palo y tuza.(Man made of wood and corn leaves). Hombre de Maíz(Man made of corn) Hombre de Barro(Man made of clay)
