Teacher Reminders • Have video prepared • Print off stakeholders sheet • Print off IP stuff to give to students (ALREADY DONE) • Tell students in advance they may want to bring some things to dress up in for this lesson… (managers, etc) • Try to bring specific concepts (stakeholders of arms industry) into general terms (make sure ideas are general to that type of stakeholder for all industries)

Stakeholders in business • Stakeholders in business are people who are affected by a company's activities and/or performance • The groups of people are involved in business activity in one way or another or are affected by the business and they have an interest in how the business is run • Stakeholders may not be in a position to make decisions or influence decision making in the company

  15. Stakeholders of Springfield… The Assignment • You will be assigned the role of one of the various stakeholder groups. You must decide on your perspective (concerns) and what you want done about them. As in real life, often stakeholders objectives conflict with others so you must find convincing arguments to ensure your side of the argument is listened to and considered! The last portion of class will be used for you to share your perspective with the other stakeholders of the power plant.
