How OTDR trace files are saved on your OFL250 or OFL280 Cable #1 Fiber #1 OTDR Trace File, Fiber 1, 1310 nm OTDR Trace File, Fiber 1, 1550 nm OTDR Trace File, Fiber 1, 1625 nm Fiber #2 One folder per fiber OTDR Trace File, Fiber 2, 1310 nm One folder per cable OTDR Trace File, Fiber 2, 1550 nm OTDR Trace File, Fiber 2, 1625 nm Fiber #3 OTDR Trace File, Fiber 3, 1310 nm OTDR Trace File, Fiber 3, 1550 nm OTDR Trace File, Fiber 3, 1625 nm etc.

Procedure – Copy All Files from OFL to PC OFL2Go will automatically detect your OFL unit and enter the ‘From’ drive (E: in the example below): 4 Put ‘OFL2Go.exe’ on your PC desktop (or any Windows folder) and start it. 1 Double click Connect your OFL and PC using a USB cable. 2 OFL Click the ‘To…’ button and select the folder you want to put your OFL results into (your ‘Desktop’ in the example): 5 PC USB Put your OFL into the USB mode. 3 Main Menu USB Press Click, then select a folder

To start the copy process, click ‘OK’. 6a click 6b If this dialog box appears, click the desired option… click one 6c When the transfer from the current OFL unit is done, click OK. click You may now use OFL2Go to transfer results from other OFL units. When you are finally done, click ‘Exit.’ 6d click

AFTER they have been transferred you may delete all trace files from your OFL as follows: 7 Open My Computer Open your OFL drive Inside the OFL drive, highlight RESULTS and press the Delete key (or right-click RESULTS and left-click Delete in the pop-up menu) … …click ‘Yes’ to confirm you really want to delete all results on your OFL click NOTE: Your OFL250 or OFL280 will automatically regenerate a new RESULTS folder the next time you save an OTDR trace.

  7. To safely disconnect your OFL from your PC 8 USB Cancel Press… …wait for your PC to make the ‘BONG bong’ sound… OFL PC USB …then disconnect the USB cable
