Analysis and Porter’s Five Forces Analysis • These acronyms deal with change. • Changes that impact a company & industry. • Business students use these in their projects. • P.E.S.T. = Political, Economic, Social, Technological. • Porter’s Five Forces include: • Competitive rivalry within an industry • Bargaining power of suppliers • Bargaining power of customers • Threat of new entrants • Threat of substitute products • What’s online and what’s not? <next screens>
