  1. What it looks like • The cheetah has black spots and a cream coat. • The coat is just a little bit orange. • The cheetah has sharp pointy teeth in the front. • Cheetahs can go to the speed of seventy miles per hour.

  3. Where they usually live • Cheetahs live usually live on open grasslands. • The grasslands are the Serengeti in Africa. • The females always find a new lair when she has babies.

  4. What IT Eats • Cheetahs find their favorite prey such as gazelles and sometimes hares. • The other animals live there because they like to eat grass. • Cheetahs usually hunt in the morning.

  5. Other Behaviors • Sometimes Cheetahs have a stripe that goes from their eyes down to their mouth. • This stripe is sometimes called a tear line. • The spots on the Cheetah is a good camouflage. • Cheetahs sometimes hide in tall grass so they can sneak up on their prey.

INTERESTING FACTS • Cheetahs often climb trees to play in, but they never hide they never hide there prey in the branches. • Cheetahs often outrun their prey. • When a female has it’s babies during the first six weeks of their lives the cubs lives in the lair. • Cheetahs can go 5 or more days without water.
