  1. Need Him! • Desperate – Old testament • Before Christ = desperate • After Jesus (born again) • – A continued and growing revelation of how much you need Jesus, and that He has all you need and Is all you need!

  2. I need Him!

  3. Need nothing! • Revelation 3:17 • “Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing‘ - and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked - (NIV)

  4. “I NEED HIM!” • 2 Peter 1 • 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, • 3According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

  5. Our need of him! • 2 Peter 1 • 4by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust

  6. Need him!

  7. Everything I need! • Ephesians 3:10 • . . . so that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places.

  8. Everything I need! • 1 Peter 4:10 • As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. • Poikilos- a various colors, variegated • of various sorts , many sides

  10. From a different perspective • We often see God only in the way we have always seen Him, or how religion or tradition has shown Him to us. • Colossians 1:17 • And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. • What is God attempting to show me about Himself.

  11. Knowledge that HE IS ALL WE NEED!

  12. Hebrews 13 • 10We have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat. 11 For the bodies of those animals, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned outside the camp. 12 Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate. 13 Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach.

  13. “Outside the camp”

  14. What you need! • What you need is outside the camp! • Jesus is not contained in the religious box. • Are you willing to suffer the reproach because of going outside the camp - where what you need is found?
