  2. Welcome to AstroCamp We will be going to AstroCamp February 28-March 2, 2014. AstroCamp is located in the San Jacinto Mountains near the town of Idyllwild, two hours east of Los Angeles, CA. The campus is found on the edge of a meadow surrounded by pine oak, and manzanita forest. Facilities and labs offer state of the art equipment for exploring science and the natural world.

  3. What to Expect Breath taking mountain views and wildlife Instructors will lead you and your classmates through a variety of exciting classes. Two classes each morning, two classes each afternoon, and one in the evening.

Daily Schedule 7:00 am - Rise and Shine 7:20 am - Breakfast 9:00 - 10:30 am - Class Period 1 10:30 - 10:45 am - Break 10:45 - 12:15 pm - Class Period 2 12:20 pm - Lunch and Store Time 2:15 - 3:45 pm - Class Period 3 3:45 - 4:00 pm - Break 4:00 - 5:30 pm - Class Period 4 5:40 pm - Dinner/Store Time/Free Time 7:30 - 9:00 pm - Class Period 5 10:00 - Lights Out and Quiet Hours

  6. Campus Information dining hall Students housed in dormitories (4-5 students per room in bunks) Meals served in dining hall All Camp staff are CPR and First Aid Certified –Somerset staff will handle meds on a per student basis dormitory

  7. Cost - $280/student 3 meals/day Sleeping accommodations Chartered bus to and from AstroCamp T-Shirt Leadership and Science classes

  8. Payment Deposits of $40 is due ASAP. Remainder of the amount is due in full on February 3. Payments may be made at the front office, to Mrs. O’Leary in room 26, or the remainder amount of $240 may be paid on efunds.
