  3. Some Methods for Marking • Bold • Circle  • Underline • Numbers  • Shading in color  • Box or brackets   • Tiny pictures (heart , note , letter )

  4. Methods Samples • Bold = 2 Nephi 10:23 • Circle  = Mosiah 3:13 • Underline = Mosiah 2:17 • Numbers  = 1 Nephi 19:11 • Shading  = 2 Nephi 8:3 • Box/brackets   • Words = Mosiah 15:7 • Paragraphs = Alma 31:15-18 • Parables/Miracles = Luke 15:4

  6. Sample Color System Red = my markings Navy blue = attributes of the Godhead Light blue = blessings of obedience Orange = teaching phrases Pink = comfort scriptures Brown = the natural man Yellow= the word of God Green = gospel principles & behaviors Purple = JST’s, and the word “remember”
