  3. European Refugee Fund Eligible Applicants – Public Bodies charged with the welfare of the target group Other public or private body (including local authorities), NGOs, and any other organisation with the capacity and mandate to undertake this action

  4. European Refugee Fund Target Groups – • Refugees • Persons enjoying subsidiary protection • Asylum Seekers

  5. European Refugee Fund Activities - • Increase Accommodation Capacity • Renovate Accommodation Facilities Budget: €304,980 (75% EU)

  6. European Refugee Fund Indicators - • Improvement of accommodation facilities through renovation • Improvement of services provided in these accommodation centres • Improved safety in accommodation facilities

  7. European Refugee Fund Activities - • Provision of Material Aid in the centres - Such as bed sheets, pillows, blankets, food, medical care • Budget: €437,000 (75% EU)

  8. European Refugee Fund Indicators - • Continuous supply of food and other necessities • Improved standard of living within the accommodation centres through the provision of material and medical resources

  9. European Refugee Fund Activities - • Continued provision of medical care • Budget: €45,000 (75% EU)

European Refugee Fund Indicators - • Increase of medical provision and supplies • In-house medical services offered in accommodation centres • Improvement of the medical services offered to asylum seekers and beneficiaries of protection • Specialised support to asylum seekers and beneficiaries of protection.

  11. European Refugee Fund Activities - • Enhancement of assistance provided to vulnerable persons • Budget: €45,000 • (75% EU)

  12. European Refugee Fund Indicators - • Improving the existing psycho-social services offered to vulnerable asylum seekers and beneficiaries of protection • Setting up of child care centres for the children of residents living in open centres and unaccompanied minors

  13. European Refugee Fund Activities - • Continued provision of educational services and cultural orientation classes • Budget: €45,000 (75% EU)

  14. European Refugee Fund Indicators – • Increase of educational services for asylum seekers and beneficiaries of protection • Ongoing provision of language training courses in Maltese and English • Vocational and educational training opportunities for the target group

  15. European Return Fund Eligible Applicants – • Public Entities, Public Sector Organisations, Voluntary Organisations, Non-Governmental Organisations, Social Partners, Local Councils, private organisations and international organisations. • With respect to the European Return Fund the applicants need to work on migration.

  16. European Return Fund Target Groups – • Asylum Seekers who may choose to make a voluntary return; • Persons who have international protection who choose to make a voluntary return; • Persons who do not or no longer fulfil the conditions of entry or stay in a Member State and make use of voluntary return;

  17. European Return Fund Other Expected Grant Recipients– • Government and international organisations working in the field of migration • Public entities, social partners, voluntary organisations and international organisations

  18. European Return Fund Action 1 - • Continuing the implementation of assisted voluntary return (AVR) programmes • Budget: €330,000 (75% EU)

  19. European Return Fund Indicators – • Around 75 migrants availing themselves of the options offered • 4 countries of origin profiled • Increase awareness of the possibilities of AVRR

  20. European Return Fund Action 3 - • Improve cooperation with other countries of origin in conjunction with other Member States Budget: €60,477 (75% EU)

  21. European Return Fund Indicators – • Enhance relations in the area of return with EU Member States • Improve cooperation with at least 2 countries of origin • Strengthen relationships with transit countries

  22. European Fund for the Integration of Third Country Nationals Target Groups – • Third-country nationals who are on the territory of a the Member State.

  23. European Fund for the Integration of Third Country Nationals Action 1 - • Improve the procedures for the preparation of admission procedures to ensure better integration process Budget: €90,000 (75% EU)

  24. European Fund for the Integration of Third Country Nationals Activities– • Prepare admission procedures in consultation and cooperation with interested institutions and experts, to ensure better conditions for TCN’s integration. • Disseminate information to TCNs through various media

  25. European Fund for the Integration of Third Country Nationals Indicators – • At least 1 project and measures undertaken • At least 1 procedure/information dissemination improvement

  26. European Fund for the Integration of Third Country Nationals Action 2 - • Develop and improve programmes and activities to introduce new TCNs to Maltese society and provide knowledge about Malta Budget: €60,000 (75% EU)

  28. European Fund for the Integration of Third Country Nationals Action 3 - • Develop and improve programmes and activities to establish and maintain relations with specific groups of TCNs Budget: €45,000 (75% EU)

  30. European Fund for the Integration of Third Country Nationals Action 4 - • Develop and improve programmes and activities to provide consultations and information to TCNs in creating more favourable opportunities for • them to use public • and private • services Budget: €150,000 (75% EU)

  32. European Fund for the Integration of Third Country Nationals Action 5 - • Creation and implementation of the systems dedicated to collect and analyse information on the needs of various categories of TCNs Budget: €54,000 (75% EU)

  33. European Fund for the Integration of Third Country Nationals Indicators – • At least 1 project and measure undertaken • Maximum of 50 TCNs involved in research

  34. European Fund for the Integration of Third Country Nationals Action 6 - • Training on intercultural competence, capacity strengthening and diversity management for policy makers and other persons working in the area pertinent to the objectives of the IF Budget: €60,000 (75% EU)

  35. European Fund for the Integration of Third Country Nationals Indicators – • At least 2 projects and measures undertaken • At least 50 trainees

  36. European Fund for the Integration of Third Country Nationals Action 7 - • Creation and Improvement of the systems for cooperation, co-ordination and maintenance of relations of competent institutions and other interested parties Budget: €45,000 (75% EU)

European Fund for the Integration of Third Country Nationals Indicators – • At least 1 project and measure undertaken • Maximum of 50 participants • More exchange of information and best practices between participating countries • More exchange of information in the research on vulnerable groups with TCN community between participating countries

European Refugee Fund/ European Return Fund / European Fund for the Integration of Third Country Nationals • Provide proof of co-financing in case of non public bodies • Audited accounts for 2012 for the Applicant Organisation and/or Partner if these are co-financing the Project. In case these are not available, the Applicant Organisation and/or Partner should submit the audited accounts for 2011, the management accounts for 2012 and a written justification • Joint declaration by executive/head and treasurer/financial controller Eligibility Criteria:
