  2. Annual Financial report • Accountant prepared. Companies Act 2006 identifies that companies classed as small (such as GCRB) are exempt from undertaking financial audit. The GCRB uses an accountant in order to provide an independent review that our accounts are fair and true and meet the required accounting standards. • Financial statement is available on request from the GCRB Chair • It is submitted to Companies House annually

  6. The GCRB Register • If you change: • Home contact details (address, tel., email) • Work contact details (address, tel., email) please complete the form on Members section of the website and return to the Board Administrator

  7. The GCRB Register (cond.) • It is the practitioner’s responsibility to inform their employing authority of any situation where they cease to fulfil the Registration requirements.

  8. Communication • Independent but works in partnership where appropriate • Continue to offer a representative to AGNC AGMs • Information update & exchange: • AGNC annual general meetings • GCRB annual general meetings • Website • GCRB representatives attend other professional and public meetings, where appropriate. • Welcome communications to the Chair (preferably by letter or email) by any interested party, including members of the public, GCs or employers.

  9. Voting rights • All GCRB Registered Genetic Counsellors are GCRB members and have voting rights • Board membership elections • Other votes that may be put to the membership by the Board. • Notification & voting will be conducted electronically. If a RGC changes name/address (home/work), go to ‘Members section’ of GCRB website to update GCRB membership register.
