  2. The Classes: • 12 units of Cal Poly credit • You will be enrolled in classes • Some offered to change class choice

The Basics: Payments • The $1,650 non-refundable deposit is due by this Friday March 14th • The next payment is $4,750 (half of the total registration & tuition and program fee, minus the $1,650 non-refundable deposit) and is due on or before March 27, 2014 • The next payment is $4,750 (remaining balance) and is due on or before April 25, 2014

  4. ***Flight information***NEW*** • When arranging your flight, please note: • We strongly advise that students do not travel to the UK via the Republic of Ireland • UK and Republic of Ireland have a "Common Travel Area", which means there is no immigration presence for travellers arriving in the UK from Ireland. • UK Border Agency may require you leave England and enter from another location

Flight information***NEW*** • When arranging your flight, please note: • Arrive in London (Heathrow airport) on June 19 and depart on August 2 • We will provide instructions on how to get to your flat • International Center recommends purchasing refundable, changeable tickets (the cost is higher but allows you the flexibility to make changes) • Leave at least 2-3 hours to make a connecting flight • Be aware- may take “2 days” transit time • Students will be required to complete a ‘Flight Information’ online form that outlines your flight itinerary

  6. Housing • Roommate selection • Double occupancy rooms • Students can choose roommates • All students must complete the online accommodations form • If you do not have a roomie, the Cal Poly-Led Programs office can match you up with someone

  8. Visa Information • You will need a student visitor visa • When you arrive, you will need to show: • Letter from FIE (we will provide this to you) • Copy of your ticket for round-trip airfare • Demonstrates you will be leaving the U.K. • Bank account showing you have sufficient funds • Demonstrates you will not be working in the U.K. • Refer to - ***Flight information***NEW***

  9. Mandatory On-line Pre-departure • All students must complete an online pre-departure training through PolyLearn • Students will be enrolled early Spring quarter • Must be completed prior to Friday, May 30 • Should take about 1 – 1 ½ hours
