What is a Conjunction?

  • A conjunction is a word that joins a words or a groups of words.

  • Oxford and Cambridge are universities in England.

  • Students can study English or history.

  • Oxford is more famous, but Cambridge is nearly as good!

  • They go to school so they can get a job.

Conjunctions often create sentences with COMPOUND SUBJECTS & COMPOUND PREDICATES
