  1. All about Covid protocols at Hotels for Weddings Oh…no when can we get married? The Global pandemic covid-19 has changed the way we look at tourism, travel and especially weddings. Hotels and Resorts are gearing up to welcome the upcoming wedding season. How prepared are they? Let’s find out!

  2. THE INDIAN DESTINATION WEDDINGSCENARIO Indian weddings have always borne the tag of being big, extravagant and packing a huge crowd and we love it. The past couple of months, to-be-weds have been postponing, re-planning and figuring out how to have the wedding that they put their heart and soul into.

  3. CO-VID READY DESTINATION WEDDINGVENUES Come September and some of the big names like JW Marriott, Taj Palace and Sarovar hotels have changed up everything from welcoming guests to wedding arrangements.

  4. DESTINATION WEDDINGS COME HOME While destination weddings last year saw a surge of export abroad, the current situation has more people interested in weddings in the home country for its safety and stress free travel. Resorts in India have observed a peak in wedding venue bookings and it may be time for you to book your dates in advance.

  5. SAFE TRAVEL FIRST For a wedding party, it is very important to make sure that you travel safe. Make sure to get all the guests checked before the ceremony to reduce the risk of contamination. Call ahead at your venue and familiarise with the safety protocols in place. Do check up with them in advance regarding documents to carry to the hotel at check in.(Hotels will now ask for health declarations and travel history)

  6. PRIMED FOR A SAFE STAY Everything has been optimised for safety. We checked with Taj Palace who is setting a fine example with modifying every seating arrangement layout for physical distancing. This includes seating in vehicles, lobbies, banquet halls, restaurants, and common areas for the safety of guests.

  7. EXHAUSTIVE PROTOCOLON SITE, CHECK FIRST We definitely recommend that as guests, check the safety protocols in place at the resort of your choice. If you have any queries about social distancing at Indoor halls or about the catering services, please contact your wedding planner and sort the fine details in advance.

  8. INTIMATE WEDDINGS ARE BEAUTIFUL The lockdown has opened the doors for intimate weddings and as much as we like our 500 people gatherings, intimate weddings are quite the catch too. Hotels and resorts are offering intimate destination wedding experiences that are as interesting even without the crowd.

  9. CHEERING FOR OUTDOORAND SOCIALLY DISTANCED WEDDINGS Weddings during the pandemic surely brings outdoor ceremonies back in Vogue. Apart from the glamour and the beauty of outdoor weddings, it is also easier to social distance and prevent contamination.
