  2. Tolerance is accepting others at different levels of maturity.

  3. Tolerance is being more concerned with communicating Christ’s love and truth than change outward appearance or attitudes.

  4. Tolerance is motivated By remembering how patient God has been with us in our failures.

  5. Compassion will cure more sins than condemnation

  6. Eastern Box Turtle

  7. Eastern Box Turtle rests in the security of its protective covering. It endures the irritations of curious predators as they try in vain to pry open it’s hinged shell.

  8. Once the irritation is gone, the turtle confidently continues about it’s business.

  9. Tolerance is looking beyond the wrong ideas and behaviors of people and seeing the needs and struggles in their lives.

  10. To tolerate people means to not argue with them, this is consistent with the Instruction of Scripture..

  11. Bible Says…. And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient. (II Timothy 2:24)

  12. Tolerance is not changing God’s standards but living them out in such a way that others will want to follow them.

  13. Never mistake God’s tolerance of a sinner as tolerance of sin.

  15. Concern more about showing love to people than convincing them of the error of their ways.

  18. Personal Evaluation When you see faults in others, does it motivate you to be an example of Godly living before them?

  19. Personal Evaluation Do you make greater allowances for unbelievers than you do for believers?

  20. Personal Evaluation Do you serve people regardless of their viewpoints and ask God to change those who need changing?
